This weeks tip was inspired by a conversation in a networking group.

If like me you use an iPhone to pretty much run the admin side of your business until you can get to your laptop/pc you may want to sync your contacts and calendars with Outlook.

Here’s how:

How to Transfer iPhone Contacts to Outlook via iCloud

Download and install iCloud on your computer

https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204283

Run it and sign into your iCloud account

Tick Contacts, Calendars, & Tasks With Outlook & Apply

Make sure to apply the following settings on your phone to enable a two way sync

On your iPhone go to Settings > Passwords & Accounts > iCloud. If prompted sign into your iCloud account and make sure the Contacts and Calendars are showing as green (if not select the ‘slider’ until it is green)

Your iPhone may ask you what you would like to do with existing local contacts, calendars etc. on your iPhone, if it does select Keep on My iPhone in order for the sync to take place

Go back a screen and select Fetch New Data and make sure this is showing as green (if not select the ‘slider’ until it is green)

And voilà your contacts and calendar are synced from your iPhone to your Outlook!
